Traditional Wooden House with Earthen Floor and Kamado Stove                                          Step back in time and experience the charm of a traditional single-story wooden house featuring an old-style earthen floor (doma) and a traditional kamado stove. The serene garden is home to a mango tree and a well, offering a taste of the slow, peaceful island life.                                    
Next door, the local community continues the cherished tradition of Bashofu—a handwoven textile made from the fibers of itobashō (Japanese banana plants), carefully cultivated and preserved by the people of the village. The Bashofu Center, where visitors can observe this traditional weaving craft, is just a short walk away.

※Closed on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
・We offer lunch using fresh and delicious island vegetables grown without pesticides in the field right in front of you
・Island vegetables have high nutritional value, and bitter melon, which is particularly commonly eaten, has antioxidant effects and the effect of lowering blood sugar levels
・After Sherpa guides you through the field of Emi no Mise, ask the store staff to introduce the menu and have a meal

Cruise on a traditional wooden sailboat that once played a significant role in OkinawanExperience sailing savannah cruise (Duration: approx. 3 hours)
・Cruising a traditional Okinawan wooden sailboat with the guidance of a shipbuilder and captain
・Factory tours are also OK
・Proceed gracefully through Shioya Bay, one of Okinawa’s eight scenic spots, receiving the power of the wind
・The captain talks about the history of Sabani, which has been greatly involved in life, in English
*From March to October (spring to fall) and winter (November to February), the cruise will be replaced with a “Yachimun (pottery) experience” due to wind

Handicraft Grass Knitting Workshop that has been handed down (Duration: approx. 5 hours)
・Experience handcrafts while chatting with artisans at a workshop deep in the mountains
・Fibers are extracted from plants and woven into them
・Lunch Special wild vegetable Bento made with local ingredients

Dinner Yanbaru Soul Food Haikei BBQ & Sanshin Performance (Duration: 2 hours)
・A BBQ set with plenty of seasonal vegetables will be delivered to Minshuku
・Haikei is a soul food that Yanbaru Kunigami Village is proud of. In kanji, it’s written as abandoned chicken, and Haikei Meister deliciously bakes chicken that has finished laying eggs at the poultry farm
・A Haikei Meister is a member who belongs to the Haikei Meister Association established by volunteers and knows all about Haikei that has received official approval from the association
・Local residents will perform the Okinawan folk instrument “Sanshin” to liven up the venue
