Day

Afternoon: Meeting: Wakasa Railway/JR Kooge Station at 2:50 p.m. (for JR Tottori Station: 2:15 p.m., departure at 2:35 p.m. ⇒ 2:48 arrival at Kooge Station. (Transfer JR to Wakatetsu at Kooge Station)

3:08PM to 3:35: After arriving at Kooge Station, take Wakasa Railway to Tampi Station
※Meet and greet by car · Load luggage into the car · Only travelers get on the train.
After arriving at Tambi Station, walk to Ootatei (about 7 minutes on foot) *Pick up at Tambi Station and move by car is also possible

4:00: Ootatei guidance, house tour, check in
Vegetable harvesting experience

6:30: EVENING MEAL SEASONAL MEAL
After dinner, play traditional Japanese games with the host family—English and Spanish support available or free time
Go to bed (private after 9 o’clock)

Registered Intangible Cultural Asset Use of one building for 1 group only (max. 4 people can stay)
Available rooms: 6 rooms as bedrooms and 1 tea room. Toilets, washbasins and baths are available in the building.
No beds, Futon available.
*The number of rooms can accommodate 10 people, but the number of people that can fit in one car is limited to 4, as the car also provides transport and experience.

7:00AM: Ootatei low mountain climbing, climbing nearby * “Hitotsuyama”
*The elevation is about 200 (elevation difference of 50) meters, and it’s easy to go back and forth for about 30 minutes from Ootatei to the summit, so you can feel refreshed.

9:00～: 〇; Transfer by private car

9:15 AM – Fudoin Iwayado (National Designated Important Cultural Property)
10:00 – Wakasa Folk Culture Village – Takumi-no-Yakata

11:00 – Walking tour Kura-dori, Kariya-dori National Important Historic Buildings Preservation District

1:00～: 〇; Wakasa Folk Craft Center, Showa Toy Museum, candy and toys
Travel by Wakasa Railway
Departing from Wakasa and arrival at Tanbi at 3:13 to 3:20 (planned)
After arriving at Tampi Station, walk to Ootatei (7 minute walk)

Evening: After arriving at Ootatei, participate in the experience (free choice, 1 instructor is attached to each experience)

→If requested, visit Wakasa again. Wakasa Railway is also possible on the way home
